u have to connect them via eithernet cable for it to work if u already doing that then idk what else to do

make sure that you have the tu5 or tu6 not sure witch one but the you have to connect them to the interenet

i had this problem even though i had the latest update... so i cleared my cache and put my hd on my pc and put it in the cache through there

ok so u should have 2 ethernet hook ups in the back of ur jtag well at least i do idk about all of u and u hook up the retail to the jtag and have 2 ethernets hooked up to the jtag then u recover the account to the jtag and u turn the xbl unlocks on and join the join the game srry if it dosent make since it makes since in me head just hard to put in to words

If what stricken or bigj doesn't work make sure you have the correct mp.xex.

Im guessing you haven't updated to the latest TU though.

Here is how to fix it:
1. Plug your ethernet cable into your jtag
2. Plug the other end into your retail xbox
3. Make sure you have all the right files
4. Start up system link

If that doesn't work then go find professional help

it may be because they have diffrent kernals
