Ok, its not too hard too see this is a really good find that we worked really hard on, so why delete it, go delete all the scam topics, jesus.


We have been playing around with the idea of making a working modded iso disc, what ive found is that there is a way of doing it but with restrictions.

Why we cant use the old methods used for cod 5 etc.

When treyarch made this game, they made it with the idea of it being impossible to modify it in any way. This was a faliure, but they did manage to prevent a few things, like the way you cant simply open up wx360 and start replacing or extracting files or like the way you cant burn the full original iso using common burning programs e.g img burn. This is what i have so far.



Requirements

Jtagged xbox 360
1 dvd+r dl 2.4x 8.5gb/240min
Retail copy of black ops
A transfer cable or usb over 8gb
powe2Go


Step 1

Boot up your Jtag then load up xex menu, now make a new folder, once inside that folder press y and scroll down to copy dvd, your disc tray should have by now opened.
Place your retail version of black ops into the tray and gently push the tray shut with your hand, wait 30 seconds, now you can go ahead and click confirm.
Let it install, time depends on what jtag you have, xenons are the older generation so would most likely have a samsung or a lite-on drive meaning its gunna be about 20-30 minutes. Anything other than xenon e.g falcon, jasper, opus then your lookking at around 10-20 minutes.


Step 2

Ok so by this point you should have a clean copy of all the G.O.D files located in the folder.
Now you can either use a transfer cable or a usb stick to make a copy of every single file in the folder. For usb users simply plug in ur usb and copy the folder from your hdd to your usb both located in xex menu. For transfer cable users plug your hdd into your transfer cable then connect to your laptop/desktop via usb 2.0 - xport360 needed.


Step 3

So now you should have a clean copy of every G.O.D file for black ops located on your desktop that you either copied using a usb or a transfer cable/xport.
Make a folder on your deskop called B.o, now put all the G.O.D files in that folder.
Take my xex and drop it in the folder it will ask you if you would like to replace the current xex ,click yes.


Step 4

Insert your blank disc and start up power2GO.
Start new task.
Click insert folder/files.
Now its gunna ask you what you would like to insert to the new project, your not writing the whole folder just the files in the folder so your gunna have open your B.o folder and highlight every file inside then clcik ok.
Click burning tasks and select the write tab then set the burn speed to 2.4x, go ahead and click burn.


Step 5

When your disc has finished burning you can go ahead and have fun.
