Hey guys. TTG-_-Mott here with yet another tutorial. I have recently made a tutorial
on how to help out our local staff, but on this one I would like to tell you how
to help out all of the members on The Tech Game.
First off, you can start off by being as helpful as possible. When a member posts a
question no matter who they are as for example a noob, leech, high ranked member, or staff just answer their question. If it is in the wrong section, or just pointless. You should at least answer their question first so that they will be satisfied, and then report the post. Don't be a total snob and just post in their thread telling them that their failures because they cannot figure this question out.
We would all appreciate it if everyone did this.
Secondly, you can help get them premium. If a dear friend needs premium
and has been really helpful to you on this site then help them out by buying them
premium. They will appreciate it dearly and you will feel good that you helped a dear
friend out that has always helped you. Now I am not saying go around making contests or
making people beg you for premium. I am saying do this for a good cause. Not cause you can.
Thirdly, when a member of any rank is in the shout box asking a question
then help them out. They are not trying to spam even if that is what you are thinking.
They are just trying to get someone's attention. They want you just to answer one
simple question for them. And if you cannot help them then say so. Just clearly say that
you cannot help them. Tell them a member that can. Remember, we all started off new when we didn't know anything. We all had to work up. Help others even if nobody helped you.
Fourthly, you can always tell a member what they are doing wrong, and right.
As if a member is new and doesn't really know much better and starts posting
random stuff that is pointless and will get them a infraction. Warn them about this and tell them not to do it again. Don't just let it go by and see a good member get banned.
Fifthly, don't give a member any problems. If you don't give them problems then they
will help you in the future. If you do give them problems then it will just make
their stay on this site a lot harder than it already is. Don't give anyone a hard time.
It doesn't help them any and you aren't accomplishing anything at all!
Sixthly, give some members advice. Tell them how they can make everything they do a little bit better. It would not be good to see a member make the same
small mistake over and over again. Just tell them how they can make their tutorials,
posts, giveaways, etc. a little more better! They need it. Everybody has had a little bit
of help every now and then. Don't be scared. They're not going to get mad because
you tried to help them, but if they do then that is their problem.
Well, that is really all I can think of for this simple tutorial.
I think I put some good stuff in here.
Thanks for reading!
