"How To Make A Extremely Simple Gradient Avatar for beginners!"
as Nearly everyone knows how to use the gradient tool.
But it may be very useful for beginners ;)

it is simple but y add to much when u can create something slick clean just in 6 steps

why would you save as jpg? less quality image.

a Jpeg is a compressed still image format. The standard is regulated by the group it's named after (Joint Photographic Experts Group). Technically no .jpg image is "good quality" it's just a means of lowering file size while maintaining as much quality as possible.
Portable Network Graphics (PNG) is a lossless image format which supports full alpha transparency contrary to the Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) which only supports either fully opaque or fully transparent levels. However, GIF files may also be animated. PNGs are also typically how icons are saved once they're created, almost like a universal format, they can easily be converted into icon formats for different operating systems.
therefore I conclude, .PNG is a better format to save in
