Hey guys, today im going to show u how to get Mw2 on your PC for FREE!!
This will be on AlterIWnet and yes, u can only play with people on the IWnet Servers Connecting to them via IP.

Lets get Started:

First you need to download the file below with is MW2 Game but it is a torrent so if you dont already have it you will need uTorrent with you can get here [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]


Next, Download the Mw2 Multiplayer Game Here: (Yes, this is Multiplayer only, does not include Spec Ops or Campaign)

After you download the link above also download the one below with is the map pack 1 and 2 for MW2: (Both Map Packs)

And after all that is downloaded you will need to download the last link below for the crack so you can keep it for free: (Modded Directory Files)

NOW HOW TO INSTALL THE GAME & APPLY THE MAP PACKS + MODDED FILES:

1.) Pick where ever u want your game to be, create a folder, and name it what ever u want---- Example: Mw2 Game

2.) Open the Main Mw2 Directory Folder u downloaded (MP Only) and Drag all the files into your Folder u created and named

3.) Open your DLC Map packs and open each of them and drag all of the files from each DLC into your Directory of the Mw2 Game (The folder u made and Created) - If it asks to replace anything, Click Yes

4.) Open the Cracked Files from the aIW-37a-10802 folder and drag all of them into your Mw2 Directory, If asked to Overwrite, Click Yes again

5.) Open your main directory and open AlterIWNet Confirgure and type in what u want your name to be.. if u put ^1 - ^9 in front of your name it will be colored

Color Codes: (This will also work through Steam, Put the code in front of what part u want colored)

^1 = Red
^2 = Green
^3 = Yellow
^4 = Dark blue
^5 = Light blue
^6 = Magenta
^7 = White
^8 = Black
^9 = Grey

Example: TheTechGame - ^1The^3Tech^2Game = TheTechGame

6.) Click on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 icon and it should automatically update. It might take a few minutes to update, (it only took couple seconds for me)

7.) A box will come up telling u to Type in that u obey and accept the fact that u will not cheat.

8.) You much type in the sentence there EXACTLY how it is.

9.) DONE!!! The game will start up and take u to the screen that says Play Online and Click online and search for a game.. PC usually takes lil longer (especially on AlterIWnet because not many people play it[/color]



AND IF U WANT TO MAKE CHALLENGE LOBBIES ON PC ALSO:::::
-PC is AMAZINGLY simple to mod considering the files are wide open in your directory on your PC for u to explore and exploit!!
To Put in a Patch:

1.) Open your Main Directory

2.) Open the Folder "Zone"

3,) Open the Folder "Alter"

4.) You will see probably 4 or 5 files in there... Download a patch and all u have to do is drag it in there

5.) If it asks to Overwrite, Click Yes.
