I was thinking "Wield a Fist of Iron" meant the Death Machines..

I actually believe it all, however. Perhaps the barricades on that door DO disappear. You never know. Did anyone ever wonder why it's chained and has barricades? And the other door identical to it isn't chained (it's opposite the Blast Door before the Rocket takes off)?
