I tried to put a new free boot on my jtag but whenever it restarted it whent to a black screen

Was it RRod also? I'm assuming it is...
Press the eject button to turn it on, if it boots into a blue screen your still alright.
If it doesn't then your going to have to manually reflash the nand.
