You got tired of all getting flamed and spammed, while the entire time you knew you were wrong and were leading people on and leading them the wrong direction, essentially getting their hopes up.

So, in an attempt to stop getting flamed and stop being so pressured, you tell all these kids the truth. BUT, you act like you were hiding the truth because it was "better for them."

You basically knew you were wrong, and now upon admitting that you are wrong, are still trying to make yourself(ves) look like the good guys and as if you did nobody any wrong.

How about you just admit that you led people on and did it for no reason and quit with all this "you didn't want the HONEST truth," BS?
