So correct me if I'm wrong (because I haven't done any of the mystery man stuff yet) but when you do the "7th step", you get death machines and the power turns off and everything resets? Maybe there is a step that no one has figured out yet that comes before that step. I read about how you throw you gersch device and everyone jumps from a high area into the gersch and you get teleported back to the main room where you have access to the chained door. Maybe you should do this before getting the death machines? Or like I said, maybe there is a step that is suppose to happen before the death machines that no one has figured out yet.

Like I said, I havent done any of this yet and I am just throwing ideas out there. If I'm wrong or it sounds stupid, just tell me.
