Ok so some people like me may be under 18 and have entered their correct age when making your xbl account. On child accounts, you cannot edit your bio, but I found a way around that.
~Sign into xbox live . com
~Click on your name in the top right corner
~Go to "edit profle"
~ Scroll down to bio, enter what you want, and then save.
~All done.
Very easy to do but I don't think it has been posted before.
