Whether you bought the jtag or jtagged it yourself it's still classed as console tampering. Because it's a tampered console, they don't care how you got it.

treyarch do have the write to ban you of xbox live... they are following the xbox coee of conduct which says noo tmapering with games.. .. hope i helped

Actually Treyarch cannot ban you from Xbox live, that is why there was a two day gap between the bans. However, they pass on the information to MS and then they decide on the appropriate action.

You cheated in a game, you got banned. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
