Hey guys, just a quick question here.
Before i update my Nvidia driver, should i uninstall the old driver first?
If yes, could someone tell me the steps to take when uninstalling a old driver?
Thanks

No, but I would uninstall the drivers and then upgrade to avoid any mishaps that might happen when Windows has both the old drivers and the new ones installed. When I had an nVidia card I didn't do anything except update, so you should be fine.

He is right about the uninstalling the old drivers, bcuz it can sometimes lead to an error code. So here is a small tut on how to take your old ones off.
Start by going to device manage, then select display adapters, click on your graphics card, and the the drivers tab. and uninstall your old video card drivers.
Your gonna to want to install driver cleaner pro here:http://www.download3k.com/Install-Driver-Cleaner-Professional.html
After you installed it, your going to restart your computer in safe mode. Once in safe mode. Run the driver cleaner and select Nvidia from the drop down list to be cleaned. All this will do is remove the remaining parts of the old drivers. Once cleaned , just restart your computer, and install the new video drivers.
If you do not know how to start up in safe mode, i did the liberality to type it in google for ya, and clicked the first one for ya lol

I hope i helped.
