Yea but what else are you supposed to be doing? When you get the death machine you do what they ask and you free them. And thats it.

I totally agree the centrifuge is not just a random spinning thing, theres more to it

You have to shoot the ball thingy with all 4 death machines then buy the lander.... this will take you too the pack-a-punch room for some reason making you pack-a-punch the death machine. "This is called the GodFinger"...
