I recently bought a DVC100 and im on a pretty crap laptop. when I started filiming there was no lag. now whenever I film I have a really bad lag and it speeds it up. Eg: If I film a 5minute film it comes up as 20seconds, looks likes its taking screenshots or something. I have pinnacle studio 12 btw.

Any help?

Check what your settings are set as, and update drivers, and check your registry and de-frag it.

Once all done, should be good as new.

Thanks I will check, btw sorry for being a noob but how do I update the drivers? All I did today to install the current one is plug it in after installing the Dvd maker thing,
