I'm sorry, but it just doesn't work.

guys dev kits are there to modify the .xex and still keep them signed, so then you make an iso on your computer, burn it and it will run ok on a flashed xbox...

However, I mean, this COULD work, maybe my friend just got unlucky? But since Microsoft started banning consoles that ran with any type of modification to the Motherboard, (They mainly Target 1st gen XeNon's and 2nd Gen Falcons [60GB HDD+]) but maybe if your flashed xbox was Zphyr, Jasper or Valhalla it might work?

That wouldn't change anything. They all have the same DVD firmware. None can run unsigned code, they all get banned the same way and rate. If there was a way to run unsigned code on them, it would work. See, if that worked and you are on a flashed firmware that hasn't been detected (stealth) this would all work out. I'm thinking that Eaton isn't on a Jtag, but this just doesn't add up as a theory. It's almost as bad as the rumor about loading other people's modded ISO's through a USB on retails. Which never worked because of Console Id protection.
