I have a wired connection from my Xbox 360 to my Linksys Router, I first tried port forwarding and it worked, then it stopped working and I put my Xbox IP on DMZ and it worked for a little while then stopped, so I plugged it into my Netgear Gigabit switch and it started working for a couple months, two days ago my internet was messing up due to weather and now it is strict again. I have power cycled it and everything yet it still wont open... please help me... also portforwarding wont work

I don't know about your router but i think if you type your IP into the web address bar it should come up with your Router settings?

Find a setting called DMZ and place your XBox's IP under it. This puts your Xbox outside your router's firewall which usually causes a Strict or Moderate NAT.

I tried that but it didn't work, when I have DMZ on should I turn off Upnp?
