For this to work, you will need the following: a 3-month subscription card, an account with an age under 13, a junk account to provide to support.
Step 1: Apply the 3-month subscription to the Child account.
Step 2: Call the Live department, ext. 2 and 1 and 2.
Step 3. Tell them your son can't play Madden or any other EA game online due to his age
Step 4: You will be offered a 3-month courtesy token code. If you are not offered this (perhaps the agent is new or unaware of the policy) ask for a supervisor.
Step 5: You will be escalated to Tier 2 support. They will ask for contact details and you will be contacted within a few days regarding the membership.
Step 6: You get to keep the original 3-month membership on the child account, so let's use that to our advantage. Call Billing Support (ext. 2 and 2) and tell them you used a prepaid code on the wrong account
Step 7. You will be asked which account you wanted to use the code on; list the JUNK account; NOT the one you actually want to use it on. They will attach the ticket to the junk account as opposed to your main, so it's untraceable in the future. The membership will only show up as "3 month prepaid code" under the subscription status.
Step 8. You will be escalated again and they will give you the same scripting, asking you to wait 4-5 days for the code to come by e-mail or phone.
Step 9. You may now either add the 3-months to your account that has a free added 3 months already, or you can start the process over again with a new junk account/child account. Keep in mind that as long as you don't actually list your main account, or previous accounts, they will have no way of finding out you've done it in the past. Technically there are ways, but Tier 3 in Redmond, Washington would need to do a pretty complex investigation.
Enjoy this

Basically the only thing holding this method back is the long hold times due to Microsoft laying off many agents.

I tried making it as clear as possible without being too long. If you have any questions about the procedure, feel free to ask.
