today i bought a turtle beach XLC or something and i can hear the game but not my friends are my able too listen too both of them at once ? i have tried turning down game volume plz help!!

Yeah, so I have had the same problem ur having. Most of the time u can go to the xbox console settings. theres something there where youll have to turn it to where u can hear people through the headphones. U should see it if u look for it.

and if that doesnt work, i think theres a problem with the actual "box" u plug into ur controller

hit the middle button on the xbox controller.
scroll all the way to the right.
find the tab that says settings or something along those lines.
then voice. and select play through both.
you can adjust which one is louder that way also

Try restarting your Xbox. This always happened to me and I just turned off my Xbox.
