OK well i want to build my own computer but it will be my first one so i want it to be as cheap as possible in case i screw something up and break it all, so here is the cheapest build i can find. This would be like a learning template for me but i wouldn't mind if it did work well so if you have any other builds around the same price that would work well once its built please tell me and so give me some suggestions and thoughts about the build. and if there are anyways you can find to make it cheaper please tell me. i would like to think i know a fair amount about computers but i still could have easily screwed up so if some things in here aren't compatible or i'm just plain wrong tell me i would like to learn, alright thanks!

I would just save up for a better one. I have a laptop thats $300 and it has that processor and it sucks. I'm saving up myself and I would recommend you do to for that build.

You could go the route of buying parts, and building it yourself.

If so check out this site for parts : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

However you could also check out this site, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

It allows you to choose either an Intel or AMD based system. The you can configure the machine with your own specifications, e.g Processor, RAM, HDD, 2nd HDD, DVD Drive, 2nd DVD Drive, Case etc..

thats great, but
you can really run on 6gb of ram, and still run a lot of programs at once, and still be fine.
umm i would go with the updated intel series (i3,i5,i7) here is the cheapest: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
you should just buy a hard drive from ebay. Just look for a trusted seller, and also a great return policy.

thanks on ebay i can get the same exact hard drive for 38$ as oppose to 70 on newegg so the money i save on that can be put towards the CPU. and i think i might just run 4gb of ram because i dont really do anything heavy on the computer other than maybe have like itunes and 6 chrome tabs open. but i would like to get into some PC gaming but i have little to no income but im getting a job soon so hopefully i can get some games but probably by the time i even save up money to buy this build there will be better stuff out for the same price anyway so i guess well see what happens
