I have a new idea for how to get the Type 99.
As most of you know after you hit the Fly Trap there are 3 things you can shoot (2 Teddies and a Monkey).
You might also know the remaining 2 objects from the FT are the molotov and the PaP colt.
My guess as to how you get the Type 99 is by doing the FT challenge then getting molotovs and a PaP colt.
Then it might be activated so that the Type 99 is in the box.
Let me know how it works if you try it. Me and my team are trying it now.

monkey in the furnace
teddy in the cage
teddy in the window
theres a bowie knife
theres juggernog bottle
theres molotovs

i dont see why your going on about the type 99? why would that be the "reward"
anyways maybe you need to shoot the monkey the teddies then get bowie knife etc?

the other monkey is on the MOON and u need the PTRS to shoot :arrow: the living :idea: out of it

First off there are only 3 objects that are able to be found.

Teddy with Juggernog
Monkey
There are 2 unused items (PaP colt and Molotov). We are unsure of why they are not used.
And 2nd there isnt a Teddy on the moon. There IS something there but it isnt a teddy (atleast not one that does anything).
Lots of speculation surrounds the moon because of this backstory. Some are saying it might be a UFO or something. lol

Teddy in the cage has both the Juggernaut bottle and the PAP' Colt
Teddy in the window has the Bowie Knife
And Monkey in the Furnace has both the Grenade and Molotov bottle.

the one with the juggernog also has the colt the molitov bottle has yet to be found
