Forgive Me, Lord?

If I clenched my hands together and dropped with both knees hitting the floor,
Would you forgive me lord?

If I took another humans life but cried and showed remorse,
Would you forgive me lord?

If I robbed a bank at gun point because my sons college fund is too much to afford,
Would you forgive me lord?

If I cursed at my parents and used your name in vein,
Would you forgive me lord?

If I fought another man because I lost my baseball game,
Would you forgive me lord?

If I made fun of the clinically troubled and insane,
Would you forgive me lord?

If I commited the sins above, I hope you will forgive me lord,
For your love and approval is the only thing that brings me forward,
And If I shall ever lose that love, I'll continue to look beyond the sky,
So I can strengthen the bond between you and I.

I thought it was really good. More people need to write like this. Although it could use some more thought and feelings. Other than that really good!
