Our coach came in and caught us. The next morning he called our school principal, and when we returned to school we all had seperate meetings w/ our parents. We all got a 10 day suspension and kicked off the wrestling team. I had a hearing when the 10 days were up and she extended the suspension to 30 days, along with 20hrs of community service, and we couldnt participate in a spring sport, and have to miss 25% of the next sport we play.

According to our handbook alcohol and drugs are under the same level of severity, but when kids in the past came into the school shitfaced they were allowed to come back after 10 days.
The principal is making an example of us, and were all honor roll kids with no prior offenses. We appealed to the superintendent, but hes not going to change it b/c hes too much of a **** to go against my principal. Do you this punishment is justified.
