can eny 1 help me get my server running iv been told i need to portforward but i have tryed tut on youtube and tryed them could any 1 help?

Did you use hamachi or no-ip.biz?
If you dont use that, it wont let you connect to server.

Thanks for lettings us know what game it was, your router brand was, and what the problem was.
I'm assuming mine craft, and I'm gonna assume your using a Linksys router.
type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar in firefox/IE/chrome/etc.
username: [blank]
password: admin
Go to Apps+Gaming
Go to single port forwarding (should be default)
Minecraft for the name
25565 for the port(s) [unless you changed it in the minecraft files]
The protocol is both.
Type the last 3 digits of your ip( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
Enable it and save changes.[/url]
