For starters, no flaming.
Ok so, at the beggining it say's the mechanism must be repaired, well it never says the mechanism is actually fixed after you get the death machines, all you do is free him? So, freeing him, sets up for the next part of the mystery. The question is, what do you do next to finish repairing the mechanism, and what could it do?

when you get the death machines it says security system offline. but whenever monkeys come it says security system online.

The mystery man wants the players to fix the mechanism which is the shuttle looking thing by the claymore room in order to fix the mechanism he wanted the players to activate all the nodes in order to fix it, the reason y he wants us to fix it so that he can be set free think of it as he's in jail or trapped in that little thing...idk if u guys would believe me but its quite obvious
