I am not sure if there is a post that is similar to this, but i wrote this for information purposes only! I am only trying to make TTG more of a trusted family!

There are still alot of people who don't know how to tell if they are going to get scammed or not when it comes to Mega Lobbies (challenge lobbies). It's quite simple to tell if someone is a scammer or not. But for those who don't know, let me give you some background about the facts of these lobbies so that next time you will make a smarter decision and say some time/money!

Background:
- Lobbies are hosted with a JTAG through a program known as XBRboot! If you are on xbox live playing Modern Warfare 2 with this program then its only about 3-5 hours until you console is banned.
- To unban your console you need something by the name of a Key Vault also known as a KV.
- You unban your console with this KV with a program called "360 Flash Tool"
- But the thing you have to remember is these KV's are not cheap. They cost anywhere between $50-$100.



with that background it will help you better to understand who is a scammer......


How to tell if someone is a Scammer:
-If someone offers you a free lobby: We all wish that these lobbies were free but its safe to say that they never will be, unless that person has enough money to buy another key vault. But most of the time free lobbies wont buy a new KV. Therefore these people want attention on their Xbox live accounts or they want to waste your time.

- If someone offers reputation for a lobby: One of the most common thing people post on TTG. Reputation can deffinetly NOT buy you a new KV. This way is a easy way for the person (who is offering) to gain Rep and an easy way for you to lose it. So don't be fooled!

- If someone offers Microsoft Points (MSP): Once again just like Reputation, its a pointless offer to make when hosting lobbies.

- If someone offers headshots: This is by far the dumbest/easiest way to tell if someone is scamming. If he/she is hosting an All Challenge lobby, then why does he need headshots if he has every camo for every gun! This is just common sense.



How to tell if someone is NOT a Scammer:
- First way/most important way is by if they have a livestream. This livestream will show proof that the lobby is real and not a fake. But, the only problem is that some people will take other peoples livestreams and use it as there own. The only thing you have to do is see who is the host of the actually livestream and see if its the same person who's post you got the livestream from.

- Second way, is the price. If someone offers $15-$30 then more than likely it is possible. I'm not saying that EVERYTIME it is legit but majority of the time. The price as well as the livestream should be together!!!

- Another way is the post itself. If the post is long and looks legit and has actually mods which are common. But once again a livestream should be included in the post as well.

- Last way is the comments below. Read the comments below the post if people are saying its legit and there rank either says "One Hit Wonder" or "Rookie User" then those must be friends of the poster. Please look for an administer's or people who are Subscribed members of TTG (colored names) comments' at the bottom of the post.
