Mine does that often, just fiddle on with the disk tray.
Close it, but hold it with your hand so it doesn't close. (It should make a funny noise)
Close it with a disk in, if it doesn't work, take the disk out and close the disk tray. (It should make another funny noise)
Open it up, put disk in, and it should read.

Works all the time for me, if not try youtube, they have several methods to fix it.

What You need to do is one of the following solutions...
Bang the top of your Xbox when its laying down, as the game starts to load when you close the tray bang to top of the Xbox where the disk tray would be and then once the game has loaded the game will play like normal [you no longer need to bang it when the game has loaded up]
Open and close the disk tray like 10 times and see if theres a change...
Call microsoft to see if you need to send it off and get a replacement or it needs fixing.
Send it to a computer shop that can sort it out for you.
Or its your laser that has burnt out and is failing xD

A lot of peoples xboxs will do this (mine does sometimes).

Just give it time since it will sooner or later fix itself.

You can turn it on and off.
Keep opening and closing it a bit.
Blow in to the disk tray might fix.

Overall just leave it and will eventually fix.

If it dosn't after like a day then just get it repaired if it has warrenty on.
