Hello guys, I'm just here to inform you on a few ways to not get hacked via system link. I know there might already be a sticky for this, but I feel like more than one of these will make people aware of methods of how to be safe when trusting someone else with your account. I just got hacked, and recovered it using one of these few methods.

Method 1: Alternate e-mail Address

I recommend this method HIGHLY. For that is how I actually got my account back simple, and fast. What you simply need to do is go to live.com, go to options--->more options. You will be at a screen with a quite a few options. Go to "Managing Your Account", and click on account details. Now, scroll down until you see "Your Email Addresses". Click on that, then click on "add an email address" and add your alternate email.

Method 2: Security Question

Make sure you have your security question set, and make sure it's something easy to remember when you are prompted with the question. I picked my favorite childhood friend. If you answered the question correctly, it's a simple 2 step process to recover it.

Method 3: Live Support

Live support is for when you have tried all of these and none of them have worked. So you contact the windows live team to help you acquire your account again. They are always helpful and usually ends in you having your account back.

I made this little guide because I just got hacked and I was prepared for it, but some people aren't, and I want them to be prepared.
