Very nice post thanks for the info I was looking for something on dev kits because looking at getting one just trying to make my mind up though

Update:
Added FAQ's Section along with a variety of questions.
Updated some information in the guide.
Fixed some issues with text and display in the guide.
Added a picture of an "Xbox Slim XDK"
Edited the Introduction.
That's everything from this update.
Post or PM what you think I should add in to the guide.

this has brought insight to me and makes me want to get one. i have heard you can make xbl account that have free live. also with the pnet if i download prereleased content is it on my history or can i transfer them with a flash drive on to a regualr xbox?

Thank you,and I very much doubt that is true about Xbox Live accounts.
I will look into it and post it in the FAQ's when I know the answer.
I don't think that will work,I would suspect it would only work on an XDK.
