According to reports, European custom officers have been ordered to SEIZE shipments of PS3 consoles. This is due to LG winning a preliminary injunction gainst Sony relating to a dispute regarding Blu-ray technology. All new PS3's have to be confiscated from entering Europe for the next ten days, although this could spell a lot of danger if the injunction is further extended

However, the majority of PS3 sales around Europe are pre-orders, meaning they are already sold before they gather dust at warehouses in the UK and elsewhere. Stockpiles could run out within two to three weeks if the ban is not lifted..
