So i was wanting to do some playing around with my xbox disk drive but the new AP 25 checks are making me a little nervous about my xbox getting flagged for ban. If i backed up my nand and my retail got flagged would restoring the nand work to unflag it?

Think about it... why would writing back what was already there remove data from a Microsoft?

Just make sure you have the latest firmware on and make sure all your game's are recently stealthed. Other than that actually buy the retail game

Well it was my understanding that the x values were stored on the secdata.bin in the nand. I don't think you can modify any portion of the nand without the cpu key so if i backed up the nand while the x values were unflagged and they became flagged, wouldn't restoring the nand with the unflagged x values restore the console to its unflagged state?

absolutly NO even if you backed up youre nand and they flagged or banned you after...youre still writing back the same encrypted keyvault becuase you dont have youre CPU key to import a unbanned keyvault my suggestion is too worry more about stealth patch youre games instead of youre nand

no im not talking about being flagged on the serverside or unbanning my xbox. My question is if my xbox gets flagged for permaban while its offline, would restoring my nand prevent the xbl servers from seeing my console as "flagged"

No, it wont help just becuase you dumped it doesnt mean its not still there, why are you scared of a ban if you use this console for offline play ?
