After posing a question to the forum and not getting a definitive answer, I researched it and other questions regarding the gun glitch.I asked if you could get more than 3 guns as it is claimed in most [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] 's but not shown.The answer is NO.Here are the facts as I know them for those that want to know.
The gun glitch depends on an amount of lag.If you're host you wont do it.If you have a good connection to the host you probably won't do it.Ideally, you want to be at 2 bars.
You don't need to have any certain type of gun.It can be done no matter what 2 guns you have.
The smart thing to do is wait till you get 2 solid guns, PAP them, then do the glitch and when your weapon's are down go buy a gun.You can swap this gun for any other gun in the box but you will NOT be able to PAP it.(no holding claymores will not work).Nor can you PAP ANY gun once the glitch is done, hence PAP'ing 2 guns before doing the glitch.If you try to PAP a gun after doing the glitch, you will lose the gun you have equipped when you take it back.I tried it holding claymores, and it wouldn't let me take my gun back.I also was unable to even get another 3rd gun.be warned.
As far as trying to get more than 3 by buying a siccle, I tried it repearedly, It doesnt work.No matter which gun you have out, it won't work.
If anyone has any other ways to get more than 3 guns, I will try them next time on and post results.
