Not a bad post. But we wont know until we can our hands on the updated map coding. It will have the answers in it

No way about the Hades thing. It seems too obscure. All the other "steps" are really significant, ie. blow up the rocket or Gersch Device the Generator. I just can't see that being the next step. I think it has something to do with the Death Machines, as Step 6 is Wield a Fist of Iron (Death Machines). The next Step is "Raise Hell" which in the Campaign is where you storm the guards with your Death Machine.

Or, the most obvious theory, THE EASTER EGG IS OVER.
