my jtag keeps getting rrod and freezing. i bring it to shop a couple time and it keeps coming back. i noticed that sometimes when i plugged in the power brick, it wud turn red instead of orange or green. is that the cuase of my jtag keep overheating? i noticed a long time ago but thought it was a lil prob but my friend says its a big problem. can someone tell me the cause of the red light on the power brick and how to fix?

The problem might be the powerbrick, try a different one
The problem might be because there is something wrong with the board that is why the brick is turning red
For the rrod, did you ever get the board reflowed? You might want to look into that if the rrod is becoming a problem

red light comes on with two different power bricks. but one goes away after i unplugg a few times. rrod, freezing and once a e74 keeps getting onto my jtag. i realy hate it, ita a falcon too =( from what i kno, the jtag has been reflowed about 5 times; 3 times by a shop and twice by me. about to be reflowed again by me cuz its a stubborn xbox

It's definitely GPU related..
Reflows just won't fix it any more.
Just for the fyi over time excessive reflows kill the solder making it brittle giving it no connection to the GPU+mobo.
It's time to get that solder fixed with a reball. Trusted members here that'll do it, for cheap and well. Always get consoles back up ;)

Well, now i have another problem, it reads nand writes xell all good, when i turn the console on i get player 4 rrod, and error code 1033. i check the JTAG wiring nothing is touching the board except the JTAG points.idk what wrong? Please help:(

Have you checked the diode wiring, make sure they face the correct way, if all is ok then remove them and clean up the spot's - remove as much solder as possible and use alcohol to wash down then try again

isnt the Black part of the diode supposed to be facing the left? if so then its okay.
