Wow no offense but all of u are pretty retarded for thinking a jtag is not illegal, yes I have a jtag and I know the consciences of being caught with one...and what the police can do. But come on if u think that they are legal then ur wrong. The biggest reason why jtags are illegal is cuz usually when using a jtag someone puts a REBOOTER on the console. Rebooters are illegal!!!
An example of this is XBRebooter. The second most biggest thing would be piracy by downloading games and then putting them on ur jtag which shouldn't be ur biggest worry though. All I can say is that if u live I. The united states the police don't really give a shit about any piracy or rebooters....but if u love in Europe I heard that it is a much bigger deal about piracy. Many people in Europe get caught when downloading illegal music for example. This is just what I have heard cuz I have a German foreign exchange student from Germany at my house.
