I'm guessing you opened your profile in Le Fluffie or Modio or something and changed your gamertag? It doesn't work like that. Have fun recovering your account

It's corrupt gamertag. You attempted to mod it, and failed. You can't change your gamertag through modding programs like Modio or Le Fluffie. It'll change the visual gamertag you see, but it won't show up on the Xbox Servers, so therefore you cannot connect.
