Every 25 posts=1 rep power on you account

Every 100 rep points=1 rep power on your account

Rep gets you more known around the forums

how does rep get you known ?
pretty sure replying to peoples comments,questions and posts gets it aswell
anyway rep is like credit i guess but you dont really lose it, unless neg rep i think, i dont know very much about it either.

I meant in the way posts get a bit more attention if the person posting has a bit of rep to their name compared to a rookie posting then it gets ignored.
