Hello TTG i have been planning on buying a falcon JTAG from Koon and a Pre loaded HDD from him aswell. My parents are a little un-easy about this because they think it is illegal and such... any ideas on how to convince them? (please don't say i can make money, as that is one of the main reasons against it)

first off jtags arent illegal its only illegal to sell them and second tell then you can get free games which you can

ok here is how i did it , do some research on it and show ur dad / mum the research they will be like wow u did ur homework on this. THEN say u can make money of it and they are like oki doki .

Haha that's the thing dude everyone in my grade wants someone to get one so we can all get tenth and I am the only one who is experienced with haha so if it was shipped to there house they would take it ;)

Tell them that Modifing a product you already own and is already your property is legal, but it is what you do with it is where the line is cut. Running emulators and a few other things is what IS considered illegal. Having a JTAG is just frowned upon by Micrsoft, they cannot land you, or your parents (if your a minor) in jail, You can be sewed however depend on what you decide to do with it.
