What does tethered mean?

Tethered means that when your device has to power off or respring(for example in winterboard) you will have to connect you i device to a PC and run iBooty that is installed at the end of the sn0wbreeze jailbreak

Although an unthethered jailbreak could soon be available so if you do not need to do this don't do it

WARNING: Do not use if you need an unlock although you can preserve your baseband UltraSn0w is broken on 4.3 Firmware.

Trouble Shooting if you get 1600 error restore in iTunes to a fresh 4.3 firmware then start the process over.

4.3 Firmware

1. Open sn0wbreeze hit yes

2. when it openc click ok and close credits

3. Click the blue arrow in the bottom right and click yes

4. Click browse and find you 4.3 firmware then hit the arrow again

5. Hit expert mode and click the blue arrow again (if iPod Touch Skip to step 7)

6. iPhone 3Gs & 4 if you require and unlock you can preserve your baseband
just hit preserve baseband in general BUT i advise to stay away if you require and unlock as the ultrasn0w unlock is broke for 4.3 just like Dino in the vid but after you done hit the blue arrow till you get back to the page with general, unlocks, custom boot logos ect...

7. Click build IPSW wait until thats finished

8. Click ok, we will put your device in a pwnd state. Hit ok, power off device and follow the on screen instructions

9. A sn0wflake will pop up if done correct saying at the top iREB 4.3 your device after its finished hit ok and wait for it to clean up then close sn0wbreeze

10. Open iTunes it will find your device in DFU mode click ok and then hold shift and click restore

11. find your sn0wbreeze 4.3 firmware and double click it then a message will pop up click restore

12. click ok then the PC screen says set up your iPod iPhone or iPad you can set up as new or from back up then click continue

13. When done go to cydia your device will power off THIS IS NORMAL IN A TETHERED JAILBREAK find the iBooty file on your PC that was saved wil your custom firmware and open it and open the iBooty app

14. Select your device in the bottom right then Follow the onscreen instructions

15. Your device will then power on when you click cydia it will load BUT REMEMBER WHENEVER YOU POWER OFF OR RESPRING YOUR DEVICE YOU WILL NEED TO RUN iBOOTY ON YOUR PC

15a. If you get errors first try again if your on any firmware if it then doesnt work on 4.3 you may have done something wrong and if it doesn't work and your on 4.2.1 you will have to do an upgrade in iTunes
