Any other game I play like Runescape works fine, can anyone tell me why Fallout New Vegas runs like this on my laptop?

3.3 isn't great. Mine is 3.1 and can't run much.
It doesn't matter how old the Laptop is it's about the specs.

its probably your graphics card, runescape runs fine because its graphics are shit, whereas fallout has decent graphics.

or you can try downloading game booster, it stops unnecessary programs to help speed up your comp, but i cant remember the url.

just google gamebooster

its a rating from 1.0 to 7.9

its based on several things like calculations per second and graphics

Go to canyourunit.com then select Fallout Newvegas then download the plugin. No viruses...

Mine's the other way around tbh. I can run Half Life, Black Ops, CS, etc.. then online games make me lag like crazy. Obviously this has nothing to do with a graphics card.. just sayin :p

You need higher ram and less programs and tasks that run behind it.
