Main Profile Page

Status
Your status Gives TTG Users that Visit your Profile a taste of whats going on, and what is new with you. Usually this is the first thing users see on a profile because it is at the top.

Much like FaceBook. Your wall on TTG Gives Users the ability to Communicate with you.

Also Like Facebook Users have The ability to comment on yours And other peoples wall posts.

Extra Profile Info

This Is your Login Info
This Is the info you use to Log into Thetechgame.com, Such as Username. The password fields are left blank for your safety and if you want to change your password you will need to type it in twice. One where it says "password" and once again where it says "retype password" Here you will also find the email associated with your TTG Account. It will be displayed but I Have erased mine. You can toggle your email to Be shown on your profile or hidden (to other TTG Members) this can be done in Prefernces, which I Will show later.

Extra Information
Ok, So below The "Login" Section, you Will se a Bold header that says "Extra Information" This is pretty Much extra Info to let Other TTG Members find out more about you. It looks like this.

Ok, So let's get started on those "extra Information" Features.
1.The first 3 Options down are. 'Real Name' 'Gender' 'Birthday'

I Use only my First name (For safety) And my gender [Is real obiously] . When using age, Please use your real age. That way It makes is easier for TTG Admins to know if your eligable for the site. Birthday can be toggled to hidden in prefernces (shown later on)

2. The next Option in extra Information, is your favorite sports team. It looks like this

Teams can be Chosen from. NHL,NBA,MLS,PSL,MLB.

3. The next option displayed is 'Favorite Youtube Video' And it looks Like this.

To get this. Go to your favorite Video [Funny video You like,Song] And copy and Paste the URL. [This thing] [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Your favorite Video will be displayed like this on your Profile: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

4. The next Option displayed is Profile Banner, and it looks like this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It will be displayed on your profile like this.

5. The next option is your Gamercard. This Displays Recently Played games/Your gamer Rep/Gamer Picture/Gamerscore. To do this simply type in your gamertag, And it generates it. Nothing further is needed *Gamertag can be changed. This will be displayed on your Profile Here. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
And also in your posts Here.

6. The next is your "Homepage" Or "Website" If you have a website, put it here. or Just put your favorite website.

There will be a link to this website in the bottom left of each of your posts.

7. The next 6 Features are Basic, AIM/MSN/Yahoo/Location/Occupation/Interests

Occupation and Interests can be found above your favorite youtube video on your Profile page.

8. The next option is Time zone.

This one is self explanitory.


Site Permissions
Here is where you Can edit What TTG Members CAN, and CANNOT see about you on Your TTG Profile.

Email Notifications
Here is where you can select What you get Email notifications from TTG For. Such as replies and friend requests.

Save Changes
Located Near the bottom of the page RIGHT AFTER EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS. Will be a save changes button. After you have finished customizing your profile. You need to press this for those changes to take affect.

Avatar Control Panel
Here is your avatar control Panel. Your avatar is Visble to all members who Read your post AND View your profile because it is located in both. On your profile it will be located here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
And on your Posts, Located In the top Left [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

How to Change Your Avatar
How To Change Your TTG Avatar *With Pictures*
To View The Pictures Click "View Content" Next To "Hidden" Underneath The Steps

Step One
Click On The Account Button From the Header Navigation Bar


Step Two
Click "Update Avatar" On the Right Side Of Your Account Page


Step Three
If You Havent Already, Upload the Avatar You wish To Use to Photobucket.com Or any Other Image Hosting Site. Or You can Choose From a Pre-defined List.


Step Four
Get the "Direct Link" Code


Step Five
Paste The Direct Link Into The Box that Says Http:// [Erase That Before You Paste The Link]


Step Six
Hit "Save Avatar"

Step Seven
You Will Be re-directed To this Page If you Did it right


Step Eight
Click "Done" Under Your New Avatar"

Step Nine
Enjoy Your New avatar!
