EA set the final release date for FIFA 10, which is said to hit stores across Europe this October 2nd. EA, via a tweet of course, simply stated that it would be "in stores on October 2nd."

Despite having a release date locked in place; new features and improvements in the title are currently unknown and EA seem to be staying fairly tight lipped about it all. Then again, I suppose it's still only July.

Can EA top last year's successful FIFA title or is it destined to be pipped at the post by PES this year? Could be a closer battle than last year ... well at least we hope it is, because after all, competition breeds success.
