SO ok i bypassed my ps3 when the update came , and since then i havent played ps3. But now when i go to sign in it says a system software update is required Do you want to update now ? and i put YES , but the its says im already on the latest update so i pressed no and now its not even letting me go online -____- pls help ill + REP

Some people who bypassed 3.60 are reporting console bans?

Simple answer sony has finally decided after a CFW hacker posted a comment about their security. They decided to activate their latest security check that they previously with the update forgot to implement.

That aint the reason for one simple answer if the servers got hit in japan PSN would be down which it isn't. Therefore read the comment i posted above

did you bypass with the dns server trick? if so then just go back and change the dns numbers to the new set that someone released. i forgot who but i saw them yesterday here. or you can just update to 3.60

put the update on ur usb stick and install it from there
