I am getting Xbox 360 one red light..
On the TV screen i get error codes in all differant languages.
And at the bottom it says in big letters

E74
How do I fix this?

Dissconnect all cables from the xbox, take the plugs out of the sockets. Remove your hard drive, plug it all back in without the hard drive, start it without the hard drive and then on the dashboard insert it.

Something like that, just be sure to disconnect everything and boot without hard drive.

Didn't work...
I think it is something too do with my AV cables.

E74: AV cable error... There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. If the cable is known to be working then there is a 90% chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip connected directly to the AV cable) in rare cases it is the GPU.

I was wondering if i could just use a hdmi cable instead?

Hey, Ive had 1 red light before. I just took out my hard drive and put it back in and it was fine. Try that

i got his when my harddrive wasnt plugged in properly,
i would just double check its clipped in properly
