Plug your mic in + get Sony Vegas Pro
then press record on sony vegas and boom, your staring your commentary

Use sony vegas pro and use the record option! Also the best microphones are if you've got a blue snowball microphone. I've got one myself and they are crystal clear. Also for your commentary , just some tips... Talk about things that you like and be open to the communities' criticism ! Hope I helped! <3
