I have spent 5 hours of my life today trying to get into tenth lobbies on cod4 but I am impeded by this stupid cannot join message even though I consider myself using fast inv from recent players. I was so annoyed about this I have ran countless speed connection tests and have inspected my NAT settings but all are working fine. However, I do strongly believe it is my connection that is playing up. My other assumption was because I'm British trying to connect to American hosts. I really need help on this as I don't want to go through this agony again. Any thoughts?

It's not you. It's the host. They have a bad connection that you can't connect to it.

I have the same prob with almost all games just have the person who is doing it he has to go to the main menu of the game to refresh his queue data or restart his xboxso that its same with yours.... Not sure if thats the real problem but how i always fix it.

Thanks for the insight on this, I found that cod 5 and cod 6 were much easier to get into lobbies for anyway. I will retry tomorrow when the connection isn't being sapped up by my family members or I might just get lucky

If its a Ground War lobby its the host. Anything else its either yours or you are joining to late.
