tape down the trigger so your controller won't automatically turn off. and if your batteries die the game pauses where you are at

Or if u have a wired contoller use that. as for the xbox still working you shouldnt worry as long as ur xbox is in a safe and cool loaction.

if the controller turns off then it goes to the menu so it doesnt keep going
