Dr Edward Advar
worked as Dr Maxis' assistant during The Giant Project in the 1940's. He assisted him in his experiments and played a part in them too. He helped with the zombies and the teleporters. One day, he and Dr. Maxis used Dr. Maxis' daughter's dog Fluffy as a teleporter test subject. Fluffy was teleported, but reappeared as the first Hellhound. When Dr. Maxis entered the room with the hellhound, his daughter Samantha came in asking about Fluffy. Needing protection from the hellhound, he tried to get to safety. Upon this, he locked Dr. Maxis and Samantha in with the Hellhound, laughed, and walked away to let them die.
Dr. Maxis

Samantha
She is the only female in the game. She is heard in two radio messages on Der Riese and is the daughter of Doctor Maxis. By the sound of the message, Samantha, along with her father, is killed by an escaping Hellhound (formerly Samantha's pet dog Fluffy), after Maxis' assistant(Edward Advar) locks them both in the room with the Chaotic Hellhound.
It is possible that Samantha is in some way connected to the child-like voices heard throughout the Nazi Zombies series. If she was killed by the hellhounds, then it could be possible she haunts the factory, which could explain the Fly Trap. In Shi No Numa and Der Riese, sometimes you can hear the zombies say "Sam". This may or may not be a reference to Samantha and her death.

2nd: Samantha isn't the only woman in the game. On one of the phone Dr. Maxis told a woman named Sophia to send a message to the German high commander (Hitler)

The flytrap is Die Glocke Dumb :idea: known fact and its in the dialogue of Dempsy. Also the support beams of Die Glocke match PERFECTLY with those the Nazi Scientist made while trying to make a wunderwaffe that could have Space/Time Curvation which is what Die Glocke did. The US government tried to replicate Die Glocke during Operation Paperclip but it crashed into a farm somewhere.
