A person in the Developers crew passed away, so i think they put this in as a tribute to him.

Alexander Roycewizc He was a member of IW until he died. I think right before MW2 came out. And the last name is a character name in COD4 mission when an Op-For agent comes and tries to kill him. If you save him he will be knocked back and Royce will kill him. A pool of blood will go around his head. Supposedly to make a dramatic effect. But why just for that? Since COD4 hardly has any neat effects like this in the COD4 campaign.

Roycewitz was a character in the first modern warfare campaign. You could save him in one of the missions, where he is attacked on a stairwell. You get an achieement called "Saving Private Roycewitz" if you do

Alexander Roycewicz or whatever is still a Game designer. One of the game designer's daughter died and thats why they put teddy bears in the game, i think. Alexander put his name in a lot of maps because those were the maps he worked on and he gives himself credit. REMY is the map designer that died 1 week before the release of MW2. His name is on the maps too. His are harder to find though, in my opinion. I have found his name on Crash though due to a video that was posted recently on the site.

Pretty cool, well all it is, is just the game devs just put some random easter eggs in there just for fun.
