welcome to fixing red ring and preventing them
helo and welcome to dingdongwill gude to fixing and preventing red rings
i take no credit for the video but i did not copy and paste any of this and i did take the pics and stuff.
first i will tell you how to tern 4 red rings into 3 red rings
to tern 4 red rings into 3 red rings you need to either plug your av cable in or a just it or it might be broken. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

now i will post a video on how to open you xbox this you need to know how to do to be able to fix the rings.

there are quite a few ways to fix the red rigs the first one i'm going to show you is the penny topic
you will need the towel trick as you will know if you watched the video ]


now i'm going to show you the x-clamp fix


finally i'm going to show you how you can prevent the red rings from coaming on coming back for many.
1 way you can prevent it is buying wispier fans or any fans you can buy them from this website [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] this is how you put them in to your xbox


or you could make some windows so hot air can get out. I even watched one video on youtube and the person left his xbox open all the time so it never got red rings.

That's a good tutorial, if it works it deserves a sticky. Don't post one after the other though just edit your last post and put it in.
