It makes them look bad and it isn't meant to be there. They don't want people who play legitly to complain about all of these glitches. I think they should make a map that you can mod or just create a map haha

I understand what your saying but if people want to play legit than they can its not like they are forced to be in the glitch! And all they have to do is not get in the glitch and play the game legitly if thats what they want but i dont think 3arc should patch every single one. I mean i know its there game and they dont want it to be ruined but i think they did it themselves already so why not leave the glitches alone so i still have some interest in the game! :/

Then what do you do when one teammate, or multiple, decide they want to glitch when you want to play legit? Youre kinda screwed on time then.

I generally prefered without the glitch because we're not going for highscore runs, and after too much time with "godmode" it gets reaaaally boring

I'm loving all these people saying why patch glitches I mean here just so I don't go on a huge rant learn the definition of words

And it's not intentional glitches are bugs in the programming they are unforeseeable they made it with a certain vision in mind and the vision was to be played the way it was meant to be if you need to be in a spot your not supposed to and just sit there for hours on end with no actual challenge why play the game?

Think of this from a gaming companies point of view, if what your trying to do is make a game challenging but at the same time fun and you think you've got that then there was a slight slip in the programming such as the lander glitch and it just makes it so anybody with no skill can get to the top of the leaderboards ruining the feeling for people who play legitly, customer morale is a main concern when you make a game as it greatly effects your sales because over half of the CoD community wants to actually achieve something with a challenge if there's glitches and glitchers that are ruining it they are going to slowly stop buying the games released by that company in return losing sales. Would you like to lose millions of dollars because smaller % of players want glitches in the game? No I don't think you would.

Same goes with modding and hacking I personally have seen it happen with a bunch of PC games one example I could think of it War Rock, the beta of it was hack free really fun and challenging but then after the beta was done along came the hackers and glitch exploiters, and then slowly less people played so then they patched the glitches and upped there anti-hack system and then as with the evolution of anti-hack system so comes the evolution of hackers which now has made it so you can't play a game without at least 1-3 hackers joining a game of 4v4 and now the company can't even afford to keep up the same amount of servers world wide as they used 2 because of the decline in sales.

Treyarch is preserving their company as a whole if you want to say they fail for that then you are just ignorant.

Glitches are fun they really patched a glitch to get on the side of a house i mean how dumb is that

i dont think they should patch zombie glitchs thats just dumb you know i understand its ceating but still its zombies it ant like you level up or get new guns and stuff its just dumb

Goth_Wolf, that was a good explanation and all and I somewhat side with you. The thing is though, instead of fixing the glitch, all they needed to do, which they kind of did, but not to the fullest, was make it so that whenever someone gets into an area that isn't supposed to be playable, that the recording for the leaderboard stops for the rest of the game. Yeah, this would be hard to do and if you have a team that doesn't have the same plans as you, it could get screwed up, but it is completely plausable and would still be better for everyone in the end. They could start off by working with the coding of the zombies and how they act when you are outside the playable zone and then work from there. Because, there are many people that do have more fun with the glitch then playing legit and that think of getting to new areas of the map as their challenge. With this way of patching, or even map creation, people could still explore and have fun and the people who take zombies seriously, can do that too.

Two things:

1. People want high rounds to be special, not common. If someone can do absolutely nothing and get there, it's not fair to those who worked hard for it. Also, it's a glitch. It wasn't intended.

2. Please explain to me how doing the glitch was fun. Maybe getting on it gave you a rush because you know you're not supposed to be able tO, but after you're in your spot, how is that fun. There's no challenge at all. It's just continuous shooting in the same spot. No movement. No nothing. That's boring. Please explain to me the fun part of this.
